SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS     

FOUNDED THE UNITED GOLF SHOW held in Fort Wayne, IN. Developed a data base for monitoring & follow through of mass mailers to potential exhibitors & sponsors. Conceptualized and continue tracking of a marketing plan.  Created,  maintain and host a Website @ http://.ugolfshow.com, now with a secured socket @ http://10q.com , and the ability to send streaming video virtually anywhere @ http://ugolf.tv

RESULT: The show tripled in exhibitors and attendees over the past 21 years.  The show grossed nearly eighty thousand dollars in combined revenue. Produces hundreds of thousands of combined commerce dollars and global recognition for exhibitors.  Sold the United Golf Show and websites in 2009 to the Fort Wayne Newspapers

 

NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES for Dynamic Promotions  A CO-founding partner with a primary mission statement of helping promote golf & other sports to the Great Lakes Region.  Recruited, trained, and  coordinated sales staff.  Registered, created, and maintain four self-owned websites with e-commerce capabilities.

RESULT: The company has grown to a five figure gross by acquiring various regions & outlets to help promote & sell a wide variety of products, like:  Logo 7 & Logo Athletic sports apparel, Hurricane Tee shirts, NASCAR Souvenirs, high-hype collectibles, and all types of golf merchandise.

 

COMPUTER ADMINISTRATION for Dynamic Promotions. Designed reports, spreadsheets, and used database for data entry & inventory control and pricing.  Developed and printed Independent Contractor Agreements and Short Term Lease Agreements, Daily & Ending reports used for all outlets.

RESULT: The Company has grown from a box & a rope with two agents, to sixty plus outlets with a two-hundred fifty-item product list, dozens of independent contractors, and annual gross revenue of nearly one million dollars.

 

CREATED COMPANY called Have an Idea!  Custom design, layout, and printing for personal needs.  Designed and printed tickets for a Canned Heat performance.  Conceived various logos and banners for the World Wide Web. Designed numerous business cards, and billboard size banners.  Designed and printed business proposals, billboards, signs, brochures, menus, flyers, wedding invitations, Christmas cards for numerous clients.

RESULT: Started as an in house capability to save dollars; the company now has unsolicited clients asking for  campaigns to be conceived and completed.

 

STUDENT OF PRINCIPALS, IDEAS, TECHNIQUES, CYCLES and TRENDS throughout my sales career.  Have the activity knowledge to recognize, relate, assimilate; take the appropriate action at the proper time.  

RESULT: As a district manager for Combined Insurance Company; took a three hundred and forty thousand dollar district with three counties, no sales managers, and seven agents; and developed four sales managers and fifteen agents to a 1.2 million dollar annual debit in seven counties in northeast Indiana in two years.  Performed consistent increases semi annually, while building through planning, recruiting, training and retaining sales staff.

DUTIES:  Supervised, tracked & monitored a half million dollar a year business, while running the highest volume outlet in chain, through leading from the front and good customer & contractor relations. Budgeted and approved purchases of office intranet. Working knowledge with MS Access, MS Word, and MS Excel.  Using CD recorder as back up since 1997.
